KnowINNO (making the most of knowledge) is a joint project between the European Commission and the OECD. Its objective is to develop analysis on the creation, circulation and returns from investing in knowledge.
One of the three components of this project is specifically dedicated to the careers of doctorate holders (CTD project) and the first experts’ meeting on this issue will be held on the 14th of June 2011 in Paris.
Representatives from the OECD and European Union as well as those from Unesco and the American National Science Foundation will present their projects and their research. An international round table in which ABG-Intelli'agence will participate will be aimed at highlighting ways through which information on doctorate holders’ careers can be improved as well as ways of extending the geographical coverage.
There are a total of 3 meeting scheduled. Their objective is to produce new indicator tables and econometric analysis concerning the job market and PHD mobility in several countries. The analysis will also include countries such as France, Japan and the United Kingdom though these are currently not participating in the CTD project.
