Created in 1981, the Gay-Lussac-Humboldt Award is granted by the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, together with the French Science Academy-Institutde France to German scientists from all fields and selected by French universities or research institutes. The Humboldt Foundation is awarding French scientists on the same principles.
Application deadline: June 30.
In 2017, the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation will award 2 German scientists with 60,000 € each.
Who can apply?
The award is meant to distinguish excellent German researchers. Applicants must fulfill following criteria:How are awardees supported?
The two German laureates will be awarded with 60,000 € and will be hosted for a research stay, from 6 to 12 months, in one laboratory or more.
