Dedicated to Franco-Mexican science and technology community, the information and communication Portal, inaugurated on March 10, 2015, allows everyone to participate in this cooperation by sharing events, projects and various opportunities.
Product of a joint work between the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT), and the French Embassy in Mexico, the Franco-Mexican portal for research and innovation, aims to meet the needs and expectations expressed during the first Franco-Mexican Forum for research and innovation of June 2013 (our paper dated april 30, 2013).
This forum allowed the actors of the scientific and technological community of both countries, for the first time on a large scale, to meet, communicate on their joint work, and to express their satisfaction and expectations regarding scientific cooperation between France and Mexico.
The objectives of the new portal are the following:
- Present all current collaborations;
- Introduce Franco-Mexican scientific and technological community's stakeholders, facilitate contacts and thus promote the creation of new research and innovation projects;
- Provide information on available tools for students, researchers, institutions and business (funding programs, grants, tenders, job offers ...) to develop new collaborations in science, technology and innovation between France and Mexico;
- Inform the community about news and events in France and Mexico.
This portal will be jointly managed by the CONACYT and the scientific cooperation department of the French Embassy in Mexico, but any people or institution involved or wishing to be involved in the Franco-Mexican cooperation, can enrich it and make it live .
