The objective of The Ulam Programme is to help foreign researchers to develop their careers by intensifying international mobility and to allow them to establish scientific cooperation with excellent host institutions in Poland. It funds a research stay from 6 to 24 months.
NAWA is a new institution that was established on October 1st, 2017. It is set up to coordinate state activties driving the process of internationalization of Polish academic and research institutions. The mission of NAWA is to foster the development of Poland in the area of science and higher education.
The objective of The Ulam Programme is to help foreign researchers to develop their careers by intensifying international mobility and to allow them to establish scientific cooperation with excellent host institutions in Poland.
An application under the Programme shall be submitted by an individual scientist who holds a doctoral degree awarded in a country other than Poland, does not hold Polish citizenship and has not lived, worked or studied in Poland since at least 2017.
Activities to be carried out during the fellowship may include:
It includes a scholarship of PLN 10,000 / month
Additional living allowances are given if the scientist comes with his/her spouse (+ PLN 2,000) and/or with children (+ PLN 1,000 per child).
Duration of the funding: 6 – 24 months
The call for applications under the Programme will be held from 15 January to 15 April 2020 until 3:00 PM according to the official time in Poland, only in an electronic form in the ICT system of the Agency.
