In order to improve the legibility of its policy to support the mobility of researchers, the European Commission has decided to regroup all initiatives and services in this area under the logo Euraxess.
From June 24, 2008, the Researcher’s Mobility Portal Era-More becomes Euraxess.
Euraxess - Researchers in Motion web-site is a joint initiative of the European Commission and the countries participating in the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research.
Four main sections compose this electronic gateway:
- Euraxess Jobs, a free recruitment tool where you can find a wealth of constantly updated information on job vacancies, funding opportunities and fellowships throughout Europe.
- Euraxess Services, a network of more than 200 Service Centres located in 35 European countries which provide you with a free personalised assistance and help you and your family to plan and organise your move to a foreign country.
- Euraxes Rights which provide you with all information regarding the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
- Euraxess Links, a network where you can find information about research in Europe, European Research policies, career opportunities in Europe, international collaboration and trans-national mobility.
Furthermore, this gateway is also established in the US as well as in Japan and China is in progress.
Each one of these sections gives access to National Euraxess portals implemented by each European country.
