The ABG-UFA branch welcomes you at the Franco-German Forum

The Franco-German ABG-UFA branch will greet PhD students and PhDs next November 13 and 14 in Strasbourg for workshops, CV-writing advice and an overview of the Franco-German.
6,000 visitors and 160 exhibitors are expected for the 11th edition of the Franco-German Forum that will take place November 13 and 14, 2009 at the Strasbourg Palais des Congrès.
This forum constitutes a meeting platform for HR managers, international corporate representatives, heads of higher education programs, graduates, PhDs and students.
For recruiters, the fair offers stands, the dissemination of job and internship offers, access to a CV database and individual interviews. Access to the Forum is free of charge. No prior registration is required.
Workshops, conferences and presentations will be organized. Among the themes broached: “Personnel Needs in Industry – What Are the Career Opportunities for Franco-German Graduates?” and “Studying Abroad – International Student Mobility.”

ABG-UFA will be on hand to discuss your CV and career plans. Don’t hesitate to come by and see us before approaching a recruiter!
- Register with the CV database
Register free of charge and on site with ABG’s CV database and take advantage of the individual support provided by the Franco-German ABG-UFA branch.
- Information on UFA grants for doctoral students
Counselors in the UFA Research Sector will be happy to explain the steps to follow to benefit from financial aid: joint Franco-German thesis, Franco-German doctoral college, workshops, summer school programs…
- CV & Co Workshops
The Franco-German ABG-UFA branch, in partnership with the Upper Rhine region’s EURES network, will offer two workshops on job-hunting in France and Germany which will be followed by a presentation of the ABG-UFA branch. (Download the program).
New Chapter in the Thesis
After meeting with considerable success in France, this program will now be offered to all French and German PhD students with mobility plans to Germany or France. At the forum, ABG will present the Franco-German NCT. Two NCT candidates and their mentor will talk about their experience. (Download the program).
