The franco-german programme for researchers' mobility which aims to develop scientific and technological exchanges of excellence and to encourage new co-operations between research laboratories of both countries. Application deadline: June 6, 2016.
The Procope programme is run in France by Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI) and the National Education, Higher Education and Research (MENESR), and for German partners by the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst – DAAD.
Calls for application, issued on an annual basis, are open to research laboratories affiliated with academic institutions, research organizations or companies.
Projects in all areas of science are considered including Human and Social Sciences.
Active participation and mobility of young researchers, especially Phd students or postgraduate, is one of the very first criteria of selection.
Resources allocated by France only cover the payment of subsistence allowances and travel expenses of French researchers:
- Subsistence allowances: 110 EUR / day,
- Travel: reimbursement of actual costs within a limit of EUR 450 per round trip France / Germany.
