The 2010 edition of the Franco-German call for proposals in the humanities and social sciences includes a specific initiative for postdocs.
The call for proposals launched by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (
ANR) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (
DFG) is intended to support research projects proposed jointly by French and German teams.
This call includes in 2010, a program which aims to promote the integration of young researchers (postdoc. level).
The research project has to be developed jointly by the post-doc. and his host team.
Furthermore, the candidate has defended his thesis in France or in Germany, or in joint supervision in at least one of the two countries.
The project duration is from 2 to 3 years and the funding is provided by the ANR for French teams and the DFG for German ones.
