The 11th edition of the largest forum dedicated to the recruitment of PhDs took place on 26 November 2024 at the CENTQUATRE in Paris.
It has become a not-to-be-missed event, attracting more than 5,000 PhDs and PhD candidates (from all disciplines) and over 150 companies of all sizes.
Organised in partnership with all the institutions from the Île-de-France, it is a space for exchange, where the barriers between the academic and private sector are broken down by wide range of activities:des stands d'entreprises (allant de la startup au grand groupe en passant par la PME) ;

In the course of their careers, PhD graduates, like most managers, will have to make numerous choices in order to progress. The career plan is invaluable in guiding these choices, acting strategically and seizing opportunities while ensuring a coherent and fulfilling career path.
Taking part in this conference enabled Master's students, doctoral candidates and PhDs to be guided in the construction of their project and to discover the key steps in efficient personal reflection.

Through the testimonies of two doctors and two recruiters from the private sector, we invite you to explore the different facets of the recruitment process. Whether it's the meeting between the doctor and the company, the post or the individuals, each will be a reason to:
- sharing inspiring stories, experiences and best practice,
- discussions on key issues such as the expectations of the private sector and its recruiters, the details of the recruitment process, and how to make the most of doctoral skills,
- the emphasis on the human side of hiring process and the crucial role of soft skills and personal attributes.
