EUA Council for Doctoral Education

The European University Association , has a new structure: 
the “Council for Doctoral Education"(CDE).

Established at the beginning of 2008, the CDE has been placed under the responsibility of a steering committee whose Chairman is Jean Chambaz, Director of the Institute of Doctoral Education (IFD - l’Institut de Formation Doctorale) of the University Pierre and Marie Curie.
Its mission is to contribute to the development, advancement and improvement of doctoral education and research training in Europe through in particular, the organization of conferences, workshops and training seminars.

Thus, the conference in Lausanne is the first of annual conferences of the EUA-CDE and will present the objectives of this new structure and the work programme for the next two years.

Furthermore, Bernard Gregory Association (ABG) will attend to this conference.
