The Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (IRMM) is launching a specific call for interest for category 30 (researchers starting their careers or at the early stages of their careers) grant holders on the Basmati project : Evaluation of rice authentication methods .
More than twenty PhD and postdoc opportunities are published on
the website of the Institute. This list is not exhaustive. More job descriptions might still be posted.
Applicants must be nationals of a Member State or an Associated State or must have resided in a Member State of the European Union for at least five years prior to the start of the grant.
Grant holders will be offered a contract that conforms with the Belgian national legislation, in particular with regard to social security contributions and taxation.
The gross monthly salary of the grantholder amounts to 2.816,67 euros for PhD researchers and 4.333,33 euros for postdocs. In addition, the JRC may pay a monthly mobility allowance and the annual travel allowance.
