The "Programme Blanc" and its international section, as well as the Programme for young researchers are now launched by the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche).

The "
Programme Blanc" aims to provide a significant stimulus to ambitious scientific projects that are well positioned at international level, have original objectives and break away from traditional research paths.
It is open to all scientific disciplines, since most academic projects to applied research conducted in partnership with companies.
In order to foster cooperation between French and foreign research teams, the
ANR signed a collaboration agreement with the following foreign funding agencies :
- Austria, FWF (all research fields are open).
- Brazil, FACEPE (research fields: Global Environmental Change, Earth Sciences, Microbiology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases).
- Brazil, FAPESP (research fields: Global Environmental Change, Earth Sciences, Microbiology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases).
- China, NSFC (open research field : Infectious Diseases).
- Germany, DFG (research fields : Information, Material and Engineering Sciences ; Life, Health and Ecosystems Sciences.
- Hong Kong, RGC (all research fields are open).
- India, DST (research fields: Engineering Sciences, Infectious Diseases).
- Luxembourg, FNR (all research fields are open).
- Romania, ANCS (all research fields are open).
- Taiwan, NSC (all research fields are open).
- United states, NSF (research fields: Chemistry (ICC), Materials (MWN).
The Programme for young researchers ("
Jeunes Chercheuses et Jeunes Chercheurs" - JCJC) aims to support projects from young researchers or lecturers with a permanent job in order to foster their responsibility sense, enable them to autonomously develop a proper subject and give them the opportunity to quickly express their exploratory research and innovation ability. It covers all fields of research in all disciplines.
