Founded in 1967, AFSR aims to promote scientific and technological cooperation between France and Sweden.
Among its missions:
- The organization of study trips, individual or group missions,
- The promotion of exchanges of professors, researchers and engineers students between laboratories, institutions, colleges and universities.
In order to expand its activities to industry, AFSR created in 1977, an Industrial Foundation, to support technological exchanges and foster cooperation agreements between companies, particularly at the level of SMEs.
On the website of the association, under "Annonces", you will find the list of scholarships and exchange programs.
Also interesting, the list of useful links that allow you to access for example, to the web sites of major research institutes in Sweden.
Furthermore, the AFSR organizes the Franco-Swedish Summer University from 14 to 18 June 2009 in Abisko (Sweden), jointly with the French Embassy in Sweden, the French Polar Institute (IPEV) and the Swedish Secretariat for polar Research in partnership with the CNRS. Participants must be young scientists early in their careers (PhDs, post-doc ...).
