{"id":861,"date":"2025-08-20T16:37:48","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T16:37:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abg.asso.fr\/2025\/08\/20\/peridot-french-pakistani-program-to-support-researchers-mobility\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T10:09:23","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T10:09:23","slug":"peridot-french-pakistani-program-to-support-researchers-mobility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abg.asso.fr\/en\/2025\/08\/20\/peridot-french-pakistani-program-to-support-researchers-mobility\/","title":{"rendered":"PERIDOT: French-Pakistani program to support researchers&#8217; mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"abg-legacy-link abg-legacy-link--anchor\" href=\"#t\">Terms and conditions<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"abg-legacy-link abg-legacy-link--anchor\" href=\"#m\">Mission and funding<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"abg-legacy-link abg-legacy-link--anchor\" href=\"#c\">Contacts<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Peridot<\/strong>\u00a0is the Partenariat Hubert Curien (PHC)\u00a0set up in France by the Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.diplomatie.gouv.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEAE<\/a>) and Higher Education and Research (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MESR<\/a>), and in Pakistan by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hec.gov.pk\/english\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Higher Education Commission (HEC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"t\">Terms and conditions<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The call for applications is open to full researchers from research laboratories attached to higher education organizations and research institutions;<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>participation of young researchers and PhD candidates<\/strong> is strongly encouraged;<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Three key areas have been identified:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Health,<\/p>\n<p>2. Renewable energy, agriculture and\u00a0food safety,<\/p>\n<p>3. Economy and climate change.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only applications co-submitted by the research partners\u00a0in their respective countries are accepted.<\/li>\n<li>The French party shall include in its application file a letter of approval from the supervisor\u00a0authorizing travel to Pakistan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"m\">Mission and funding<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Funding is granted on an annual basis,\u00a0for 2 or 3 (consecutive) years;<\/li>\n<li>The funding only covers the mobility of researchers between the two countries;<\/li>\n<li>Funding support covers\u00a0stay\u00a0(\u20ac125\/day) and\u00a0travels\u00a0(reimbursement on actual expenses up to a limit of \u20ac 1500 per France-Pakistan round-trip) allowances for French researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"abg-legacy-callout\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"abg-legacy-accent\"><strong>The final deadline for application is September 23, 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"c\">Contacts<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\"abg-legacy-link abg-legacy-link--web\" href=\"https:\/\/www.campusfrance.org\/en\/node\/2349\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See the call for applications on the Campus France website (in French)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Partenariat Hubert Curien (PHC) &#8211; Peridot 2026 &#8211; aims to develop scientific and technological exchanges of excellence between French and Pakistani laboratories, in particular by encouraging new cooperations, the participation of young researchers and PhD candidates.
