{"id":933,"date":"2025-06-05T14:55:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T14:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abg.asso.fr\/2025\/06\/05\/france-taiwan-scientific-prize\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T10:12:11","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T10:12:11","slug":"france-taiwan-scientific-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abg.asso.fr\/en\/2025\/06\/05\/france-taiwan-scientific-prize\/","title":{"rendered":"France-Taiwan Scientific Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.academie-sciences.fr\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Acad\u00e9mie des sciences &#8211; Institut de France<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nstc.gov.tw\/?l=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan <\/a>award <strong>a France-Taiwan Scientific Prize every year to a team of researchers <\/strong>(one from a Taiwanese institution and one from a French institution) for their contribution and achievements to scientific research of interest to both regions, as well as their future plans to continue and amplify their scientific collaboration.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Eligibility\u00a0<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications are open to all researchers working in France and Taiwan <strong>(regardless of nationality)<\/strong> that have an active scientific collaboration and plan to amplify it in the near future;<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>All scientific fields<\/strong>\u00a0are eligible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Award<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The amount of the Prize is <strong>40,000\u20ac to be shared<\/strong> in equal parts between the laureates of the year;<\/li>\n<li>In order to encourage the continuous scientific exchange, <strong>a mobility grant <\/strong>is also available each year exclusively to the laureates for short visits and workshops in both regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application process<\/h2>\n<p>Applications must be sent <span class=\"abg-legacy-accent\"><strong>by June 16th , 2025\u00a0in two\u00a0identical copies<\/strong><\/span> in PDF format, one submitted by the French applicant to the Acad\u00e9mie des sciences, and the other submitted by the Taiwanese applicant to National Science and Technology Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"abg-legacy-link abg-legacy-link--web\" href=\"https:\/\/www.academie-sciences.fr\/en\/franco-taiwanese-award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More information<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Acad\u00e9mie des sciences (France) and the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan award a France-Taiwan Scientific Prize every year to a team of French and Taiwanese researchers for their contribution and achievements to scientific research of interest to both regions.
