Genopole and its partners launch an ambitious funding programme that aims to foster the international attractiveness and visibility of Genopole biocluster through competitive international calls. The deadline for applications is February 20th, 2022
The ApogeeBio* programme, supported by the European Commission, intends to launch 3 international calls from 2021 till 2023 for a total of 24 post-doctoral fellowships with hosting possibilities both in the academic and the private sectors of life sciences and environment. The total amount of each fellowship is 130 000€ for 24 months (gross salary charged).

The selection process will be implemented according to the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. It will follow institutional procedures in line with national and EU requirements and designed to incorporate equal opportunity measures throughout the whole selection process and during implementation of the programme.
The fellows will have access to attractive position in 14 academic laboratories and a potential of 77 companies, all located in Genopole biocluster. They will benefit from excellent research and innovation environment including high level infrastructures, as well as training and networking opportunities that will enhance their career development potential. From the side of personal and career development plan, our partner ABG Asso, will propose jobs and career workshops covring job market across Europe both in the academic and in the private sectors, and Science-Accueil will propose courses of French language and acculturation sessions for foreign researchers. As for trainings, ApogeeBio will propose a set of training including courses and practical sessions as well as seminars and workshops in research related disciplines as well as in transferable skills.
Participants will have assistance through a mobility process and administrative procedures.
Genopole is a pioneering biocluster in Evry located 30 kms south of Paris and dedicated to genomics and biotechnologies in health and environment. On its 5 campuses of 115 000 m2 of buildings and facilities, the biocluster Genopole unites academic research laboratories, higher education institutions and private companies. The main strategic areas of research and innovation are applied to health and environment and include a large panel of disciplines.
