During the recruitment process, PhD candidates and holders are called upon to showcase their research experience and skills. It is therefore essential that they take a step back and learn to identify their skills and then communicate them effectively.
DocPro is an online tool enabling PhD candidates and holders to build a skills profile. It helps them identify and name the skills they have acquired through their research experience, in language that is relevant to the socio-economic sector. DocPro guides them in assessing their skills and illustrating them through describing a first-hand experience.
This workshop provides hands-on familiarisation with the tool (mydocpro.org) for creating a skills profile.
Participants will also learn how to describe real-life situations that demonstrate their competences.
