Lasting from one to three days, ABG’s supervision trainings give considerable prominence to discussion between supervisors and to concrete role-play.
Rather than presenting a catalogue of management tools, the training focuses on the supervisor’s posture and on structuring concepts, and address the potential difficulties of supervision. The legal framework of the doctorate is also covered.
Finally, time is set aside for a contribution from a senior figure within the institution, to address its organisation and its doctoral policy.
