Scientific and academic cooperation with Mexico

ECOS Nord: a Call to support joint research projects for a period of 4 years, between French and Mexican teams. Application deadline: August 1, 2016.

The ECOS Nord Committee issues its 23th call for bilateral research projects with Mexico.

This call concerns basic research in all disciplines in the framework of a collaboration on a joint scientific project and must include doctoral training.

The priority areas are the following:

Climate change and its impacts;
Clean, renewable energy and nanotechnology;
Food security and resource management;
Sustainable cities;
Policies to fight against poverty;
Natural disasters and telluric risks;
Health: fight against cancer, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases and vectors;
Big data Massive data / supercomputers;
ICT;
Automotive and aerospace industries.

ECOS Nord support's nature:

Assignments for experienced and active researchers;

traineeships for PhD students;

travel cost to Mexico for French people.

The Mexican partner has to simultaneously submit his project and in the same terms to the ANUIES (Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior).
