ECOS Nord: a Call to support joint research projects for a period of 4 years, between French and Mexican teams. Application deadline: August 1, 2016.
The ECOS Nord Committee issues its 23th call for bilateral research projects with Mexico.
This call concerns basic research in all disciplines in the framework of a collaboration on a joint scientific project and must include doctoral training.
The priority areas are the following:

This call concerns basic research in all disciplines in the framework of a collaboration on a joint scientific project and must include doctoral training.
The priority areas are the following:
- Climate change and its impacts;
- Clean, renewable energy and nanotechnology;
- Food security and resource management;
- Sustainable cities;
- Policies to fight against poverty;
- Natural disasters and telluric risks;
- Health: fight against cancer, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases and vectors;
- Big data Massive data / supercomputers;
- ICT;
- Automotive and aerospace industries.
ECOS Nord support's nature:
- Assignments for experienced and active researchers;
- traineeships for PhD students;
- travel cost to Mexico for French people.
