Publication by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST) of a bilateral call for proposals to develop ambitious interdisciplinary research collaborationsJST-ANR call for proposals covers the overall area of Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies (ICT) including micro and nanotechnologies, as well as research on innovative usages of these technologies.
Consortia must consist of at least one French and one Japanese academic research group and will typically consist of 4 to 8 partners.
Joint Research proposals may be submitted by higher education institutions (universities), non-university public research organisations, as well as industry.
The integration of enterprises into the Consortia is welcomed.
Each partner team will be funded for a period of 3 years by the agency of its country and according to national regulations.
