Euraxess Links China
Clarisse Faria-Fortecoëf
A networking for European researchers active in China.EURAXESS Links China is a networking and an information tool, sponsored by the European Commission and open to Chinese researchers and to all those interested and involved in research exchanges between Europe and China.
Besides its public website and its interactive platform, EURAXESS Links China organizes networking and thematic events (jointly with the Science, Technology & Environment section of the EU Delegation to China in order to create links among European researchers themselves, between these researchers and the EU, and between these researchers and Chinese researchers and other possible stakeholders), publishes a monthly newsletter and try to address the demands of its members.
You will also find in this website, information about funding (programs, forthcoming calls for proposals) and collaboration opportunities. For example, specific activities for enhancing the mobility of researchers are proposed:
- The IRSES initiative (International Research Staff Exchange Scheme) promoting short-term exchanges of personnel amongst selected universities and research institutes established in Europe, in China and in other countries ;
- the STF-China initiative promoting the mobility of EU researchers to China and offering to 30 selected researchers from EU member states 6-month tailor-made Chinese language and culture training in Beijing and 18-month practical research work in a Chinese host organisation.
