The Luso-French Programme of Universitary Integrated Actions implemented by the Conference of University Presidents (CPU) and the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP), aims at initiating academic and scientific exchanges between France and Portugal.
Application deadline: May 31, 2016.

PAUILF is managed on the French side, by the University of Lorraine and on the Portuguese side, by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia / Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior.

2016/2017 Call for proposals is dedicated to the support of co-supervised theses and covers all disciplines.

The incentive support of a maximum period of three years is intended in priority for doctoral mobility, the mobility of teachers involved in the joint supervision, as well as to support expenses related to the participation of the PhD student at a conference in Europe.

Furthermore, PAUILF is complementary and compatible with the Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) PESSOA (please see our article).

Projects will be selected on the following criteria:
  • Quality and consistency of jointly supervised research project;
  • Academic and scientific complementarity of the two partners.

On the CPU's website (in French) and the CRUP (in Portuguese), you can download the useful documents such as the call for proposals or the application form.
