Our team is composed of 4 permanent researchers, several PhD students and post-doctoral research assistants and develop research projects in the field of organometallic catalysis in close collaboration with industrial partners. Our expertise lies in the design, synthesis and implementation of molecular organometallic catalysts based on oxophilic / early transition-metals for atom-efficient reactions, e.g. polymerization, hydroelementation etc.

Position and assignments

Dear Colleagues,

We are currently looking to fill one postdoctoral position in the field of organometallic catalysis.  The project, industrially oriented and funded by a major international company, is focused on the implementation of early transition metal catalyst systems with original ligand frameworks for selective trimerization of alpha-olefins; further details can be obtained by contacting us. 

 

Information:
- The position is for 18 months - Opened from October 1st, 2024.  
- Salary (based on experience) + social/medical care.

Profile

Requirements:
You hold a doctoral degree in Organometallic chemistry / Molecular Catalysis.

- You have a broad and proven experience in the synthesis, characterization and handling of molecular compounds, especially, of air-sensitive organometallic compounds.

- Knowledge of and experience with catalysis and polymer chemistry will be appreciated but not mandatory.

- You have distinguished yourself as a promising researcher in your doctorate/postdoc work.

- You may present relevant scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

- You have an excellent command of spoken and written English.

- You have strong abilities to communicate with and present research advancement to partners.

- You are eager to present you results in a form of written report and/or presentation on a trimester basis.
