Best Franco-German thesis prize 2008

The author of the best Franco-German thesis will be awarded the amount of 4,500 euros.This year, for the first time, the Franco-German University (UFA) has issued a call for applications for the first "Best Franco-German Thesis Prize 2008. It is open to all PhD students who finished their doctorate between September 1, 2004 and September 30, 2008 in the framework of a Franco-German doctoral school or a joint Franco-German thesis.
The Prize is endowed with the sum of 4,500 euros that can be used inter alia to publish one’s thesis if that has not already occurred.
This prize, sponsored by the APEC (Association pour l’emploi des cadres), will be awarded duing the Franco-German Forum, this coming November 14 in Strasbourg. Application deadline is November 7. The application can be downloaded from the UFA website.
