Science and Technology Fellowship Programme China

A funding programme to promote mobility of EU researchers towards ChinaLaunched by the European Commission for the first time in 2008, the European programme "Science and Technology Fellowship Program China" (STF China) aims to develop meaningful and long-lasting partnerships between EU and Chinese research institutions.
This programme is open to PhDs European researchers and includes two days briefing in Brussels prior to departure to China,a six-month tailor-made Chinese language and research culture training in Beijing followed by an I8-month research period in a Chinese host organisation.
The grant awarded by the European Commission amounts to €1,800 per month.
Call for Proposals for the STF programme's second edition (STF2) is open now and deadline has been extended until
4 January 2010 (instead of 29 October 2009).
The second intake will start on 1st June 2010.
