Clarisse Faria-Fortecoëf
Established in June 2000, LBN is now one of the largest biotechnology networks in Europe with over 2000 members from 800 organisations. The purpose of the London Biotechnology Network (LBN) is to create effective business forums and communication networks that bring London biotechnology sector together which represents almost 100 life science companies, more than 23 research hospitals and 25 research institutions.
Launched in March 2007, Career Track sponsored by the London Development Agency, is one of the LBN key goals. This initiative aims at promoting career options in the industry and providing guidance on what skills and connections enable scientists (about 39,000 life science graduates and PhDs trained every year in London) and entrepreneurs to succeed.
Coinciding with the launch of the above, LBN has added a “Job” section to its website. You will find listed there, the current vacancies available at LBN member companies and organisations. Job specifications can be viewed by any registered site user (registration is free of charge).
Furthermore, in the “Search Database” section, you have access to the LBN on-line directory of London companies and institutions engaged in the biotechnology sector in London.
