Doc-Career : now what's after the PhD

PhDs' career paths, roundtable, visits in companies… This will all take place on 22 and 23 May 2007 in Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium).Taking place in Louvain-La-Neuve (Place Croix du Sud, Auditoire Sud 199) on 22 and 23 May 2007 (register now), this event will aim at exploring job opportunies for PhDs outside Academia.
It is intended for PhD students in second year at least.
Registration is compulsory and costs 20€.
Focus Research, the Belgian association that carries the organization of Doc-Careers with the support of the Association Bernard Gregory and several other partners, has made it its mission to establish a dialogue between researchers and scientific policy decision makers ; to develop communication between researchers themselves and to promote scientific popularization.
It runs the Belgian web portal dedicated to doctorate: doctorat.be
ABG correspondents in Belgium are closely involved in the organization of Doc-Career.
