AUF PhD and postdoctoral fellowships
Fabrice Martin
The University Agency for French-speaking world (AUF) proposes fellowships to encourage mobility between universities of foreign countries. These fellowships are for candidates studying or working in AUF member universities who intend to spend part of their scientific path abroad.
PhD fellowships
They lead French-speaking students away from the country where they were studying and enable them to prepare a PhD thesis. These mobilities must prove useful for Southern countries, they must allow to undertake researches in both countries alternatively and, eventually they should be co-supervised. Attention, fellowships can't be granted for mobilities between two Northern countries (France-Canada for example).
Postdoctoral fellowships
These mobilities lead French-speaking professors or researchers abroad, within the framework of AUF member universities. Their topics must be of interest for the development of Southern countries. Attention, candidates must prove a professional and scientific activity as professors or researchers at an AUF member university.
The international call for tenders for 2008-2009 is open from September 1, 2007 to December 18, 2007.
