French Fellows Abroad (BFE) programme gathers all main kind of fellowships intended for French young scientists to pursue doctoral, postdoctoral or linguistic research abroad.French Fellows Abroad (BFE) programme gathers all main kind of fellowships intended for French young scientists to pursue doctoral, postdoctoral or linguistic research abroad, for example in the framework of a co-supervized doctorate:
- Lavoisier fellowships of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Universe fellowships, proposed by foreign governments in the framework of bilateral agreements.
- International Doctoral Scools (Collèges doctoraux) programme
The Egide association, which manages the BFE programme, has brought online a search engine which allows you to know the available fundings for each country.
Attention, deadlines for application are specific to each kind of grant although it is set to March 15, 2007 for most of the Lavoisier fellowships. 2006-2007 campaign report has been released in La Lettre d'Égide n°44 d'octobre 2006.
