Uppsala Universitet

Founded in 1477, the Uppsala University proposes three Disciplinary Domains: Arts and Social Sciences, Medicine and Pharmacy, Science and Technology. 

At the cooperation and exchange level, the institution has agreements with approximately 500 foreign universities in 50 countries.
In the case of France, concerned universities are: Paris IV Sorbonne, Rennes II, Paul Cézanne in Marseille, and Poitiers.

Furthermore, an additional investment for post-docs was decided this spring by the Vetenskapsrådet (the Swedish Council for Scientific Research, VR): 96 million kronor, about 9 million Euros (see our article  of June 2009)
