Description

Position: Electronics Engineering Intern

Duration: 4-6 months

Location: INRIA Saclay Center, France

Project: Odyssey - Advanced Multimodal Cognitive Training Platform

 

About Odyssey: Odyssey, a cutting-edge project selected for INRIA's prestigious ISS program (commencing July 2024), is at the forefront of cognitive enhancement technology. We're developing a revolutionary personalized platform that seamlessly integrates TES (Transcranial Electrical Stimulation) neurostimulation with adaptive cognitive training games. Our innovation is currently in active development, with a patent pending.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize electronic circuits for our patent-pending TES-EEG headset

Develop and implement various TES modalities (tDCS, tACS, tRNS)

Contribute to prototype development of TES devices and headsets

Conduct thorough testing and validation of electronic components

Maintain detailed technical documentation and experimental records

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to integrate electronic solutions

 

Ideal Candidate:

Pursuing or recently completed a Master's or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field

Hands-on experience with PCB design and development

Strong programming skills for microcontrollers and embedded systems

Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities

Keen interest in neuroscience and its technological applications

Proficient in English; French language skills are a plus
