International symposium on innovation – Genopole & Amgen

Wojciech Lewandowski - Community manager

Genopole, France’s leading biopark for life sciences research, and Amgen, a pioneer in medical biotech, have joined forces to co-organize the International Colloquium on Innovation. Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 – 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Génocentre, 1 rue de l’Internationale, Evry, France
The objective of the event is to better understand

  • the organization of innovation systems throughout the world
  • the specificities of major innovation sectors and channels including
  • those of biomedical innovation
  • the role of regions in innovation with the goal of identifying best practices through concrete examples.

What public policy deliberations (national, regional, etc.) are needed to improve France’s innovation system?
What are the factors and conditions of success for clusters with worldwide reach? What new organizational modes should be considered? What can be done to favor all forms of innovation and permit entities to development in close symbiosis with their markets?

The colloquium’s broad spectrum of participants will seek to address these questions via their particular points of view and thus bring light to our vision of innovation.
