Jean Panhard Prize

The Jean Panhard Prize is awarded for research pertaining to the automobile industry or road transport. Application deadline: April 30, 2009.The French Automobile Manufacturers Council (CCFA) and the Automobile Club of France (ACF) have issued the Jean Panhard Prize since 2007. This prize rewards research pertaining to the automobile industry or road transport in the fields of economics, industrial science or sociology of the automobile.
The winner of the competition will be awarded 6000 euros and the reproduction, if he or she desires, of 20 copies of the PhD thesis by the CCFA copy service. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2009.
Another prize of 3000 euros will be awarded on the same criteria to a Masters student having successfully defended his thesis.
