55 million euros for career counseling offices

Valérie Pécresse announced that 55 million euros will be released over a 5-year period to enable these offices to be established inside French universities.The work group led by Jean-Michel Uhaldeborde, former president of the University of Pau, and Thomas Chaudron, former president of the Center for Young Leaders, submitted its report on setting up career counseling offices to Valérie Pécresse, Minister of Higher Education and Research.
On this occasion, Valérie Pécresse announced that 55 million euros will be released over a 5-year period to enable these offices to be established.
By December 31, 2008, universities should outline a master plan for setting up such offices. The quality of the master plan presented will be taken into account in the distribution of this new allocation.
