UPSC symposium for young plant scientists

UPSC will invite the most interesting candidates to attend a two-day symposium at the end of May 2014 in Umeå, Sweden. UPSC will cover all costs associated with the symposium. During your visit you will have the chance to present your PhD work, visit the institute, identify and discuss potential projects with different research groups and also visit Umeå, the cultural capital of Europe 2014.
To be eligible,
Please send a cover letter including a motivation of your research interests, CV and names of 2-3 references to postdoc@upsc.se. Deadline for the symposium applications is April 15th 2014. Deadlines for many fellowship applications are in August.
To be eligible,
- you should have obtained your PhD within the last 2 years and
- have published at least one manuscript as first author in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Identify research topic(s) at UPSC that you would be interested in pursuing, and justify your choice based on your experience and future plans.
