At any stage of their career, PhDs have many choices to make in order to evolve. The career plan is therefore invaluable in guiding these choices, acting strategically and seizing opportunities while ensuring a coherent and fulfilling career path.

Goals

• Understanding the importance of a career plan for your career development
• Taking some distance from your history and your research experience to define a career plan coherent with who you are
• Putting words on your drivers and wishes

Programme

The workshop is a mix between theoretical inputs, discussions and individual work:

• Understanding the 4 key steps for designing you career plan
• Analysing your history to better know yourself (wishes, drivers, values)
• Projecting into the future and implementing an action plan

target groups

The workshop is open to the following groups:

• doctoral candidates (from 2^nd year)
• PhD holders, with a postdoctoral contract or unemployed
• spouses of mobile scientists (Master’s and/or PhD only)

Open to all fields.

Fees

50€ -  Payable online at the time of registration.

The fees can potentially be covered by your employer, as part of your training plan.

Same goes for Marie-Curie beneficiaries.

Attention : The number of participants is limited to 12 participants, to enhance personal discussions.
