The PhDTALENT CAREER FAIR 2022

The 10th edition of the largest career fair dedicated to the recruitment of PhD holders took place on October 21, 2022, at the CENTQUATRE in Paris.

This event has become a must, bringing together several thousand PhD candidates and PhD holders (from all disciplines) and nearly 150 companies of all sizes.

Organized in partnership with all of the institutions in the Paris region, it is a space for exchange, where the decompartmentalization of the academic and private worlds takes shape through a wide range of activities:

• company booths (from start-ups to large groups and SMEs);
• themed workshops;
• two professional pitch contests;
• speed meetings;
• round tables and conferences.

ABG at the PhDTalent Career Fair 2022

ABG at the PhDTalent Career Fair 2022, this was : 

• A conférence "A career plan: an alliance between heart, reason and action" by Catherine THOMAS

• During their career, PhD holders, like most executives, have to make many choices in order to evolve. A professional project is therefore invaluable in guiding these choices, acting strategically and seizing opportunities while ensuring a coherent and fulfilling career.

• Flash career interviews held throughout the day, in French and English, by our trainers: Kristina BERKUT, Laurence FRITEAU, Sandra GIRON, Floriane LACOUR, Melike RIOLLET and Catherine THOMAS

• At our booth, personalized advice, as well as ressources and documentation were offered throughout the day by all the ABG team.

As part of the advice ABG provides, we also guided candidates towards numerous job offers, thesis proposals (academic and industrial), internships (Master 2, engineers) from our job board:

The 2022 edition of the competition took place in 4 stages.

• The contest: 11 PhD candidates and PhD holders pitched their research experience, skills, personality and career project in front of our professional jury;

The network time: all the finalists were able to meet the professional jury during a dedicated time slot for networking;

Finally, the award ceremony of the Professional Pitch Competition #CPP22 of Association Bernard Gregory.
