Information meeting about CIFRE agreements and graduate student consultants

Laurent Cousin

Masters and PhD students to meet with companies on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ferme de Courtaboeuf (91).
It’s a known fact, companies and PhDs are still worlds apart. Mechanisms have been set up to remedy the situation:
CIFRE agreements which allow a PhD student to do his or her thesis in a company and the “graduate student consultants” program by which PhD students can act as corporate consultants. But what do these mechanisms involve, exactly? Who are they designed for? How can you take advantage of them?

To help companies as well as master’s and PhD students answer these questions, an information meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ferme de Courtaboeuf (91).

It is organized by the Université Paris-Sud, the Regional Office for Research and Technology (DRRT), the French National Agency for Technical Research (ANRT) and the Network for Technological Development, whose specialists will lead the meeting.
