Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)
SINGA is a scholarship for international students with excellent academic results, and a keen interest in doctoral (PhD) research in science and engineering at the University of Singapore. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2023.
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The scholarship is open to all international graduates who have a passion for research and outstanding academic achievement.

Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Eligible areas: Biomedical Sciences, Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Physical Sciences.
- Host Institution(s) might be one of the following: the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) or the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
Mission and funding
- Scholarship provides financial support for up to 4 years of PhD studies including full tuition fees, monthly stipend of S$2,200, which will be increased to S$2,700 after the passing of the Qualifying Examination, settlement allowance of S$1,000, and airfare grant of up to S$1,500.
- Working in a multicultural environment alongside distinguished and internationally recognized researchers in state-of-the-art facilities.
The final deadline for application is December 1, 2023.
