The Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) is part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), in Campinas (SP), a private non-profit organization under the supervision of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovations (MCTI).
LNLS is responsible for operating Sirius, the largest and most complex scientific infrastructure ever built in Brazil and one of the most advanced synchrotron light sources in the world. This state-of-the-art laboratory allows the investigation of the composition and structure of matter in its most varied forms, opening new perspectives for research in areas such as materials science, nanotechnology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, and many others.

Poste et missions
We are announcing a FAPESP postdoctoral position for the development of the project titled: “Advanced Simulations of Zeolite Catalytic processes, combined with synchrotron coherent X-ray diffraction imaging methods,” scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025. The candidate will be responsible for the simulations with MD and DFT of zeolite catalytic processes, and will participate with the research group, to synchrotron coherent diffractive imaging experiments. This position is part of the funded FAPESP Project “Imaging working catalysts/ Catalytic correlations in nanoporous materials” (FAPESP 2021/06876-1).
The vacancy is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral Scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12000 per month, and a Research Contingency Fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover expenses directly related to the research activity.
