MCAA France Chapter 2019 Career Symposium
The MCAA France Chapter 2019 Career Symposium will take place this year at Institut Curie, on May 20th. Organised by the Marie Curie Alumni Association in collaboration with Institut Curie's Training Unit, this conference aims to gather young researchers and actors of the world of policy, economy, start-up and industry.

MCAA France Chapter Career Symposium will bring together young deserving Marie Curie fellows and actors from the world of policy, economy, start-up and industry. The event aims to raise awareness among young researchers for a meaningful career, for which scientific background and skills of PhDs are key inputs.
Practical information and registration
Programme
Exceptional speakers will be present at the event. On the morning session, the participants will have the opportunity to listen to the presentations the CEOs of TE-OX, GeoLook and Anovra and ask them questions and approach them at the coffee break. Lectures without borders and Research ability will then be presented. At the lunch time, a fun speed dating fill be organized to discover in a few minutes the topic of other young researchers.
The afternoon session will focus on career opportunities in the world of science and policy/diplomacy. Antonella Di Trapani, Head of NEST, secretariat and organisation OECD – NEA (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Nuclear Energy Agency) as well as S4D4C and InSciDE will be present at the this session.
Finally, Association Bernard Gregory will close the symposium with a career mentoring session between 16pm-17pm.
60 places for PhDs and Postdocs are available.
