This internship will take place at the LIA (Computer Science Lab) of Avignon University, located in the picturesque city of Avignon, in the south of France.
The Master’s intern will be supervised by two researchers at LIA:
One specializing in resilient network optimization
The other specializing in natural language processing (NLP)
This interdisciplinary collaboration will provide a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of network resilience, AI, and NLP.
Description
A 6-month internship opportunity is available at the LIA (Computer Science Lab) of Avignon University, located in the south of France. This internship focuses on a cutting-edge topic in networking: resilient network design leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Mistral AI).
Objectives
1️⃣ LLMs for Automated Network Configuration: Investigate how LLMs can facilitate automatic network configuration to enhance resilience.
2️⃣ AI for Network Failure Detection: Collect and analyze real-world data from an existing lab testbed to explore failure identification techniques using LLMs and AI.
Profil
(1) 2nd year Master student or last year Engeneer student
(2) AI, Operation research, Combinatorial Optimization
(3) Networking
(4) Sufficient English Language Level
(5) Starting date is flexiable (but no later than June 1st 2025)
